Triple Ridge Forest Partnership
10 April 2003
We are pleased to report as follows:
Forest Stand Progress
It has been a good growth season for your young forest stands after a late spring. Dry conditions recently have not affected them at all.
It has not been dry this summer where your trees are at Glens of Tekoa. At Leslie Hills and Kalimera, this year has been a little drier than average until recently but as the trees are on sites that are predominantly sheltered they have been fine.
Those of you who saw some of your trees in their first season would be amazed to see them now just two years later, as growth has be excellent. Maybe come along for the next field day?
The principal work required on your forest stands this year is application of ulexite to the Radiata pine, which adds the trace element boron, and some more weed control on the Douglas-fir stands.
The enclosed budget’s notes cover the work and estimated expenditure required.
Budget 2003 & Tax Loss 2002
The budget is with your Consultant for approval. It indicates a need for $380 per unit this year.
We enclose a request for payment.
Your Tax Loss Certificate for the income tax year to 31 March will be sent to you very soon, followed by the audited Financial Statements for the Partnership year to 31 December 2002.
