2002 Budget – Pruning Begins

As mentioned in our last report, here is this year’s budget and a request for your contribution.
Less is required than previously estimated, as the Partnership’s Forestry Consultant has advised only a small amount of pruning is needed right now at Ramshead.
More may be done there and at Paratu late in the year, possibly late enough to be in the next budget.
Further assessment of the optimum timing of pruning and a cost-benefit analysis of whether a two or three lift pruning regime is more profitable will be done in the spring by the Consultant.
In due course we will outline the rationale for this vital value adding investment in pruning to be carried out over the next four years or so.

We will be in touch again shortly.
